第8章作業之補充說明與提示(Hints)

本週交第 8 章 Problems 第 3、4 題。

注意：本章作業，利率 (r) 與價格 (P) 算到小數點以下第 2 位，所得 (Y) 算到第 1 位。

提示(Hints)

有關第 3 (e) 題 

"What will happen in the short-run to actual real output, the price level, and the real wage rate as a result of the increase in aggregate demand？" 在此，題目並沒給予一個特定的 SAS curve。因此，回答這個問題僅能對這 3 個變數 (Y, P 與 W/P) 的變動方向做大致的描述。

有關第 3 (f) 題 

"Explain what will happen to the nominal wage rate and the SAS curve as the economy adjusts to the new long-run equilibrium"。與第 3(e) 題一樣，回答本題必須對 W 與 SAS curve 的變動方向做一描述。但本題的最終 equilibrium 則有一明確的 solution，因此在描述上可比第 3(e) 題明確些。

有關 Problems 第 4 題 

加上 Pigou effect 後，當價格 (P) 改變時，A_p 會受影響，因而在 (P,Y) 圖上的 Y 變動會大了些，表示 AD curve 的斜率與沒有 Pigou effect 的情況下不同。甚且， Pigou effect 的重要 implication 是 AD curve 「不可能」 垂直。這是 neoclassicists 與 Keynesians 爭論中的一個重要論點。
