第10章作業(Q9,Q13與P7)之補充說明與提示(Hints)

本週作業為第 10 章 Questions 第 9、13 題與 Problems 第 7題。

注意：(1) 本章計算都算到小數點以下第 2 位。

參考課本 pp. 339-341 的說明。

有關 Questions 第 13 題

本題可參考課本 pp. 348-350 有關 "Effects of Inflation "以及 "Why Inflation is Tempting to Governments "之講解。

注意 "In the steady state " 的定義是 nominal government bonds, nominal high-powered money 與 the price level 都以同樣的成長率成長。

有關 Problems 第 7 題

注意本題以課本 (10.11) 式 (p. 349) 計算時，p 與 i 是以實際小數而非 percentage point 來算。例如inflation rate 是 5 percent, 則 p 是 0.05 而非 5。

有關第 7 (c)："the real interest on bonds" 指 the amount of real interest paid on government bonds。

在第 7 (f)，"the Fisher Effect holds" 指 i 會調整到使得 real interest rate ( 即 i–p ) 不變。
